About the event

The film centers on Malik (played by Omar Epps), a feared gang leader recently released from prison. He returns to his neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, determined to avenge the murder of his closest friend, Sayeed. As he navigates the dangerous streets, Malik's loyal right-hand man, Mike (Corey Hendrix), attempts to keep their crew intact amidst rising tensions and hotheaded members like 2wo 3ree (Wiz Khalifa) and Meechie (Skilla Baby), who are eager for retaliation.
Malik's journey takes a spiritual turn when his grandmother, a devout woman who raised him, leaves him a small icon of St. Moses the Black. This icon begins to haunt him with visions that he cannot ignore, prompting Malik to confront his violent past and the internal struggles he faces. As rival gangs, led by a ruthless leader (Quavo), and a corrupt cop (Cliff Chamberlain) close in, Malik must navigate the impending chaos…
