• The KJ/host, agents, and judges reserve the right to declare the maximum number of contestants and close registration at any reasonable point in the event.

• Advancing contestants must be available for final rounds. All reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the advancing contestant's schedule, but no guarantees will be made. If an advancing contestant cannot make an advancing round, his or her spot will default to the next runner-up contestant.

• Advancing contestants are encouraged to bring family, friends, and fans. Audience reaction will help to determine the Champion.

• Alabama Idol is a family-friendly contest (No questionable lyrics) Songs containing vulgar or explicit sex lyrics will not be allowed. Rap and or hip-hop contestants must perform the radio-edited versions.

• Avoid songs with big instrumental breaks. We’re not there to hear studio musicians; we’re there to hear you.

• We will be using the Karafun App for all singers.  Please go to to view the available songs and choose your song from the songs available on the app.   Online karaoke | KaraFun
